Introduction Official website of PTA has 2 versions of website. One is for mobile and other is for computers. PTA of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority regulates telecommunications including Mobile companies in Pakistan. It was founded in 1994. It has its head office in Islamabad and regional offices in Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar, Rawalpindi. PTA Site also presents list of Mobile operators in Pakistan with their original names, head office addresses and Phone Numbers. It also has list of Tower Licensees working in Pakistan. There are total 7 companies working in Tower infrastructure.
SIM Information
http://www.pta.gov.pk/668/ You can check through this url how many sim are registrar against a NIC. For verification of SIM just enter your CNIC number and hit it off on Submit Button. Don’t put – slash or dash in your nic numbers.668 verification Report tells Numbers of SIMs registrars by each mobile service including ufone, moblink, warid, telenor, zong.

You can send your complaint to pta against any service provider working in Pakistan. Complaint can by for poor signals, rates, tariffs and many others. Tariff Rates
Official tariff rates are also available through PTA Website. You can view this list in excel format. List includes company name, package, billing pulse, daily charges, on net and off net tariffs, sms packages, internet, taxes etc. it also provides information about special non geographical numbers. These numbers includes UAN (111), Toll Free (0800) and PRS (131). UAN meanings are Universal Access Number. Know more about how to get these numbers.
